Rhinoplasty

Nose Job

Elevate Your Profile, Refine Your Radiance

A rhinoplasty is a tailored nose reshaping procedure for a refined look. A rhinoplasty transforms nasal contours, creating greater facial harmony.
  • Improved facial symmetry
  • Enhanced breathing
  • Reduce sinus pressure
A rhinoplasty can not only refine your profile but also enhance comfort and breathability, marrying aesthetics with function.
What Is a Rhinoplasty?
A rhinoplasty, commonly referred to as a "nose job," is a cosmetic procedure designed to enhance the appearance and, in some cases, function of the nose. Through a combination of precise surgical techniques, a skilled surgeon can reshape and refine the nasal structure to balance facial proportions and address concerns such as a dorsal hump, crookedness, or asymmetry.

Beyond aesthetic improvements, rhinoplasty can also correct breathing difficulties caused by structural abnormalities within the nose. With careful consideration of each individual's unique facial anatomy and desired outcomes, rhinoplasty offers a personalized approach to achieving a balanced, symmetrical, and naturally beautiful nose and facial profile.
Benefits of a Rhinoplasty
  • Enhanced facial harmony and proportion
  • Correction of nasal asymmetry or irregularities
  • Reduction or elimination of dorsal humps
  • Improvement of nasal tip shape and definition
  • Correction of deviated septum for better breathing
  • Resolution of breathing difficulties caused by structural issues
  • Increased self-confidence and self-esteem
  • Personalized approach to address individual aesthetic goals
  • Long-lasting results with proper surgical technique and care
  • Potential improvement in overall facial aesthetics
Rhinoplasty Types
From subtle refinements to comprehensive transformations, rhinoplasties typically involve a diverse range of techniques to enhance both the aesthetics and functionality of the nose. Whether you're considering a reduction in size, correction of asymmetry, or improvement in breathing, there's a type of rhinoplasty that will effectively target points of concern and deliver desired results.

Traditional Rhinoplasty: Typically performed under general anesthesia, a traditional, surgical rhinoplasty involves careful incisions made either inside the nostrils or across the columella (the strip of tissue between the nostrils).

Through these incisions, the surgeon accesses the underlying nasal structure, allowing modifications to be made. Depending on the patient's goals, the surgeon may reduce or augment nasal size, reshape the nasal tip, straighten a crooked nose, or address breathing difficulties by correcting a deviated septum. Once the desired changes are made, the incisions are closed, and the nose is often splinted to support the newly shaped structure during the initial recovery time. Rhinoplasty is a highly individualized procedure, tailored to each patient's unique anatomy and aesthetic goals, with the ultimate aim of achieving facial harmony and a natural-looking result.

Liquid rhinoplasty: A liquid rhinoplasty, also referred to as non-surgical rhinoplasty or filler rhinoplasty, is a minimally invasive procedure that refines nasal appearance without surgery. Hyaluronic acid-based fillers are precisely injected into specific areas of the nose to correct asymmetry, dorsal humps, or shape irregularities.

Unlike traditional surgical methods, liquid rhinoplasty delivers immediate results with minimal downtime, making it a preferred choice for individuals seeking temporary or subtle enhancements. A liquid rhinoplasty is also reversible and permanent, making it a trial option before considering surgical alternatives. However, the

How Much Does A Rhinoplasty Cost?
The cost of a rhinoplasty can vary considerably based on a number of factors. Relative to other forms of cosmetic procedures that have fewer variations in technique and requirements between patients, a rhinoplasty is one of the most "custom" forms of plastic surgery — as much science as it is art. For that reason, in addition to it's prominent location on the face, finding a highly experienced, board-certified surgeon is imperative.

Here are some of the factors that can have a big influence on how much a rhinoplasty will cost:
  • Type of rhinoplasty (open rhinoplasty, closed rhinoplasty, or revision rhinoplasty)
  • Surgeon's experience and expertise in performing rhinoplasty procedures
  • Geographic location of the surgical facility
  • Facility fees, such as operating room expenses and anesthesia fees
  • Pre-operative evaluations and tests to assess candidacy and surgical planning
  • Surgical technique employed (traditional or non surgical rhinoplasty)
  • Complexity of the procedure, considering the extent of nasal correction required
Rhinoplasty Recovery: Time and Special Considerations
Rhinoplasty recovery has some special considerations compared to other forms of plastic procedures.

Because your nose is a central feature of your face that you often see in your reflection, your brain is very familiar how it looks. There is a psychological phenomenon, known as the Mere-Exposure effect, that suggests the brain is wired to like things that are familiar, and dislike things that are unfamiliar. Consequently, there is often a mental adjustment period for rhinoplasty patients in addition to physical healing, regardless of how well the procedure was performed, and the new look goes from unfamiliar to familiar to the mind with repeat reflection exposure.

Physically, rhinoplasty recovery time varies from person to person, but generally follows a similar progression.

In the immediate post-operative period: Patients may experience swelling, bruising, and discomfort around the nose and eyes. Pain medication and cold compresses are often recommended to manage these symptoms.

Week 1: Patients typically wear a nasal splint or cast to support the newly shaped nose and protect it as it heals. It's common for swelling and bruising to peak during this time, gradually subsiding over the following weeks.

Weeks 1–2: Patients typically return to their surgeon for a follow-up appointment to have the splint or cast removed and to assess the initial results. While some bruising and swelling may still be present, many patients begin to see early improvements in the appearance of their nose.
Over the next several weeks, swelling continues to decrease, and the nasal shape refines further. Most patients are able to resume light activities within the first two weeks but should avoid strenuous exercise and activities that could risk injury to the nose for several weeks longer.

Weeks 2–12: The majority of swelling has subsided, although some minor swelling may persist for several months. Patients should continue to follow their surgeon's post-operative instructions, including any recommendations for nasal care and avoiding sun exposure, to support the healing process and optimize their results. Additionally, during this period, patients tend to get more familiar with their new look, seeing the results as they are as the Mere-exposure effect diminishes and the brains starts to become more familiar with the change.

Overall, while the majority of swelling resolves within the first few weeks to months, the final results of rhinoplasty can take up to a year to fully manifest as the tissues settle and scar tissue matures.
